There comes a moment when you realize, with absolute clarity,
that nothing external will ever satisfy the longing in your heart.
And in that instant, the idea collapses—
that happiness, love, peace, joy, or freedom
could ever be found in someone, something, or somewhere.
The illusion of the search is shattered
And when that belief loses all power over you,
all that’s left is a vast emptiness.
At first, it feels like desolation.
There is no hope.
You’ve let it go also.
There’s nowhere left to go.
Nothing to look for outside.
Nothing to hold on to.
There is nothing.
And you fear that nothing.
But it’s there…
where you stop running from yourself.
Where you surrender—completely.
All the expectations.
All the words left unsaid.
All the things that never came to be.
In that total, radical acceptance of the now—
of your life exactly as it is—
a deeply openness emerges.
A receptivity
that breaks you open to Divine Grace.
And it is the only thing that truly satisfies.
You feel whole.
Full.
Filled with yourself.
You know now—
everything is within you.
You are both the source and the receiver.
Literally a page from my journal.
